Shipping Policy and Fees - Updated May 16, 2007

All orders will be processed for shipping as soon as possible after the order is received. Most orders will be shipped on the business day (Monday-Friday) following receipt of payment. For PayPal orders, this is usually the following day. For orders paid by mail, this is usually the day following receipt of payment. All orders are packaged with care to protect the merchandise against shipping damage.

U.S. Orders: Standard Shipping Orders are generally shipped by USPS Priority Mail (some Western States orders may be shipped by First Class/Parcel Post if cost is lower), and packages will usually arrive within 2-5 days. Standard Shipping on all orders to U.S. Addresses is now FREE for all orders over $100. The seller is not responsible for packages lost or damaged due to postal handling. Insured shipping is offered for an additional fee, and is recommended to protect the buyer against lost or damaged orders. Typically, U.S. shipments will arrive within 3 days of the date of shipment, however delivery time is not guaranteed. All U.S. shipments include a USPS Delivery Confirmation Number. If payment is made by PayPal, your item can be tracked through information linked to your PayPal payment.

International Orders: Please note that the USPS has restructured their shipping classification system. International Shipping classes have been re-labeled, as prior shipping methods are either renamed or are no longer available. Orders requesting standard shipping will be shipped by USPS First Class International Mail. Delivery times will vary based on country. Average time for Standard International shipping should be 1-2 weeks. The seller is not responsible for packages lost or damaged due to postal handling. In addition, the buyer is responsible for any customs charges, taxes or any other fees due upon receipt of the package. Insured shipping is offered at additional expense, and is recommended to protect the buyer against lost or damaged orders. Please note that Insured International shipments require shipment by Priority Mail International or Express Mail International which requires detailed customs documentation and is usually at a much higher rate than standard International shipping rates. Shipping time for these items should be similar to the standard Airmail shipping. USPS International Mail Service does not provide tracking information.

Shipping fees are automatically calculated at checkout using a weight based fee table. Standard U.S. shipping is now free on all orders over $100. Insured U.S. shipping is available and the price for insured shipping will be shown during the checkout process. For your protection, Insured Shipping is recommended. Standard International shipping varies by destination country. If you would like a detailed shipping quote before placing an order, e-mail with a list of the items you are wishing to purchase as well as your destination Country or State. My international shipping rates have been discounted, and I guarantee that all International shipments will be charged LESS THAN ACTUAL SHIPPING CHARGES - on average, the International shipping rate is $2.00 to $10.00 below actual postage fees. Basically, all customers will pay less than actual shipping on all orders - for International customers used to paying inflated shipping/handling fees, this is like getting an additional discount on top of the already low prices.

Online Store Sales Policies and Restrictions

Online inventory is checked several times per week to insure that items listed in stock are available. While we do our best to only have in stock items listed in the online inventory, we cannot guarantee the products availability due to personal in store sales. In the event that an item purchased and paid for is no longer available, an immediate refund will be issued to you for the purchase price of the out of stock item.

Monthly sales and other special discounts are only available on current inventory. Special orders will be sold at the quoted discount price and will not reflect any additional discounts.

We attempt to provide a representative photo for each item available, if possible the photo will show the actual item. Since photos are not always available foe every individual item, some of these photos may show a representative model that is different from the actual item being sold (such as a locomotive with a different road number). These photos are meant to show basic model details (paint scheme, type of model, etc...), not the actual model being sold. Actual item information is included in the detailed description for each item, and your order will be shipped based on the item description.

Competitive pricing: If another retailer advertises a lower regular sales price for an item I sell, please contact me with information (website, part number, etc...) regarding the lower price. I will research the information and if possible will adjust my pricing to be more competitive with the competitor's price. If I adjust my price on an item based on a customer tip, that customer will receive a single-use 5% off coupon for use on their next purchase at my online store.
